After working for ten years as a newspaper journalist, I tried my hand at book and magazine design.
My first book design was published in 2011. Writer Donnie Haulk and I worked together on God's Laws of Communication.
Like the modern mega churches Haulk writes about in the book, the design was fresh and colorful.

The release of the first That's Racin' Magazine, a companion to the popular That's Racin' website, coincided with the induction of the NASCAR Hall of Fame's first class. As Creative Director, I was involved with all aspects of the project. Designer: Jesse Moen.
Two inside spreads for Lake Norman Magazine. I redesigned all of the magazines during my time as Creative Director. This particular magazine has a lake focus so the design was intentionally casual and colorful.
